Last night's sunset was very unusual, quite eerie actually. The clouds were hanging over the mountains of Mt. Desert Island and there was a break in the clouds in just one spot. My next door neighbor took the second picture and his was a better angle than mine.

That really is a rather eerie sunset, but beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
So you can see Mt. Desert Island! Lucky you to be so close to Arcadia. I've been there twice but my hubby hasn't seen it. One of these days we might take a trip up there. It's about 12 or 13 hours from here. That's a long way!
