Woke up to more fog this morning and it doesn't look as though it's going to burn off today. Sigh.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day, and Freddie, our pond frog is loving every minute of this wet, humid weather. Funny, how we've come to feel the humidity after only 3 years in Maine. Still, it cannot begin to compare with the awful heat and humidity of the South!
Below is a picture of our small pond nestled in amongst the granite boulders on the side of the house. Freddie is currently out for a quick snack, hopefully it's one of the thousands of slugs we seem to have in the garden! I spend time every morning and evening with salt shakers in hand, trying to control the slug population. I think I'm losing the war.
