We got used to the 'mild' winters of the last decade and our firewood supply reflected that - and now we're just about out.WiseAcrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13383341492994868833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213254.post-71071033681037628542009-02-05T16:57:00.000-05:002009-02-05T16:57:00.000-05:00Thanks, everyone for your kind comments. We fondly refer to it as "The Luge".

We still have a few more months of winter (the leaves on the trees don't begin to pop til late May!!!Giddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04810313282013706875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213254.post-25194374851281171482009-02-04T11:44:00.000-05:002009-02-04T11:44:00.000-05:00Uh huh! The snowbanks and piles are huge at school and in the village. The kids are having a ball snowshoeing for gym, but the plow guys are wondering where they'll put more snow if/when we get it.
We have 3 piles at the bottom of our driveway instead of the usual one.
Your cardigan is coming along nicely. Keep those fingers flying, and keep shoveling! :)
You and H sure work off all that great food!Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18362584475435433892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30213254.post-37457650022058870742009-02-02T20:17:00.000-05:002009-02-02T20:17:00.000-05:00Looks the same here, but we aren't that far from y...Looks the same here, but we aren't that far from you either. We haven't had any of that rain or mix like you have had. Hubby spent a good part of the weekend on the tractor pushing back the snow to widen the driveway which is 900' long. It's groundhog day today so we hope that he has seen his shadow or is the other way and we hope that he hasn't seen it (smile). Oh well, only six weeks left of winter!

Great looking sweater.
